Getting started

Add and manage premises

A premise is one physical location of your business. Programs run at premises, and staff are assigned to premises — so getting this list right is the foundation of everything else.

Add a premise

  1. Open the Places tab in the business app.
  2. Tap Add premise.
  3. Search for the location — the address and details are filled in automatically.
  4. Review and confirm.

You can repeat this for as many locations as your business has.

What premises control

  • Programs — when you create a loyalty program you choose which premises it runs at. A stamp card can be valid at one location or all of them.
  • Staff access — staff and premise managers only see and stamp for the premises they're assigned to. See Roles and permissions.
  • Discover — each active premise appears to nearby customers in the app's Discover tab.

Editing and deactivating

From Places, open any premise to edit its details. Deactivating a premise hides it from customers without deleting its history.

Single-location business? You still have exactly one premise — it was created during onboarding, and you'll rarely need to think about it again.
