Getting started
Create your business account
Setting up Sello for your business takes about ten minutes end to end.
1. Download Sello and sign up
Install Sello from the App Store or Google Play and create an account. One account can hold both a personal (customer) profile and a business profile — you switch between them from the account menu in the top-right corner of the app.
2. Choose "Business"
During onboarding, choose the business role. You'll be asked:
- How many premises does your business have? A premise is a physical location — a shop, a salon, a restaurant. You can always add more later.
- Find your premise. Search for your business so your address, name and details are filled in automatically.
- Confirm the details. Check the name and address, adjust anything that's off, and confirm to create your first premise.
If you have more than one location, you can repeat the search-and-confirm step for each one now — or skip it and add the rest later from the Places tab.
3. You're in
After onboarding you land on your business Home — the dashboard. From here you can:
- Create your first loyalty program — see Choosing a program type
- Invite your team — see Roles and permissions
- Add more premises from the Places tab
Tip: create your first program before inviting staff — that way the team lands in an app that already has something to stamp.
